About PatrickFor more than twenty years, Mr. Bennett has represented business interests in state governmental affairs. In both the legislative and regulatory arenas, he has become a trusted source of information and a tireless advocate. Environmental and energy issues have been his primary focus on behalf of manufacturing in recent years. In the past, Bennett lobbied for the home building industry.
Mr. Bennett holds a bachelor of science from Ball State University and a Juris Doctorate from IU Law School – Indianapolis. In the spring of 2010, Bennett established PKB Consulting, LLC. His lobbying clients have included the Indiana Manufacturers Association and the National Waste & Recycling Association in addition to a small legal practice. A graduate of the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis, Mr. Bennett is admitted to practice in Indiana in addition to admission to the United States District Court, Northern and Southern Districts. Legal training enhances Mr. Bennett’s practice area contributing to a deeper understanding of the interaction between the legislature and the courts.

Mr. Bennett is a member of the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana. Founded in 1982, the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana believes that lobbying activity has an important and positive role to play in the democratic process. The profession of lobbying exists only because we have a system of representative government and constitutional provision for the right of petition. The Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana firmly believes that the very democratic institutions that enable lobbying and the need for public confidence in those institutions require the highest ethical standards for lobbyists.
